RIOCantWagon

It amuses me how people seem to think I have permanently left the site... that is not the case!  I am just having a P.A. hiatus.  Well, until now, that is.

I've yet to step foot in the new S.R. either.

Good, because that would be terrible.  But I think a break every now and then is warranted.

Well, I was off the grid for a few days for Thanksgiving - my dad's computer is too slow so I didn't bother trying to get online.

Having said all this though, I may still be less active for a while.  I'm not sure why.

I think the 50k has scared me.  It could be a World Record and now I just want to be in Still Life and reading about God and Bluff-ing my way in The Quiet Zone.  The Least We Could Do is Wave To Each Other occasionally though... then we could fly away in our Helium balloons and Be The Only Ones to own The Aerosol Grey Machine.

Which reminds me... some silly amount of years ago in tha anals of Jamesian Histrionics, I wrote:

I found a light unplugged in New York, so I went somewhere else.
Whilst In Utero I bought some Insecticide and I eventually drove to
the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah and fell asleep, Nevermind.
I woke up and and some guy said to me 'smells like teen spirit',
I replied, 'what does?', 'that dodgy bottle of yours' he replied,
'I bought it in a shop named 'Plateau' and I also bought some
'Penny Royal Tea' which was 'Dumb''. I then saw a girl on the
muddy banks and she said she was hungry, I shouted
'Does 'Polly wants a Cracker'?', she replied
'No, 'Where did you sleep last night'?', I replied
'In the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines',
she just shouted 'Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam', I said 'why not?
I just want some 'cherry flavoured ant-acid''

It's not King By-Tor's wonderful ex-girlfriend eulogisms that have scared people off but rather my obtuse observations about women and life in general.

Welcome to my world.

Oh and I've been playing a bit of Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir and because the premise of the game is to form a party, it therefore means you have a party name and a motto,

Name: Da Zeuhl Wortz Mekanik
Motto: Theusz Hamtaahk!

Also, I was randomly browsing a site about NWN and came across a forum and who did I find there?

Joren's mate JRKSperov (or however it's written).

Small world.

I did a spot check and used my tracking skills and found the relevant post.

And why is relevant spelt that way?  It makes more sense to have an A after the L and an E after the V.

Hmm.

Why have I suddenly become some weird philosophical coconut?

I agree.

Silly language, English.

But it's not Russian!

Khrushchev is pronounced as Krischov.

Confusing!

Well I'm off to the pub quiz now.  I may pop in later, I don't know yet.

NWN2: SoZ will be calling me.
