The third box hopefully is on its way and should be here soon.

I didn't see the recent order, where is it?

My birthday is in a few weeks...I anticipate a Wayside order of gargantuan proportions LOL

That is one sweet order.  Clap

I think I have all those except the 1870 one (well, I have the Art Bears studio releases, not the box - are there a lot of extra goodies in there?)

A 6 CD box containing:

1. The three original releases, properly re-mastered, - when we did them before, the technology was much poorer. Stunningly re-mastered by Bob Drake from 24 bit transcriptions of the original tapes and in newly designed Digipacks, same cover art, of course.

2. Art Bears Revisited -A double CD of re-mixes, re-workings and (mostly) new pieces made from Art Bears multi-track masters by JOHN OSWALD, THE RESIDENTS, CHRISTIAN MARCLAY, FRED FRITH, CHRIS CUTLER, BIOTA, OTOMO YOSHIHIDE/GROUND ZERO, BOB DRAKE JON ROSE, OSSATURA, WARRIC SWINNEY/KALAHARI SURFERS, WHEN, THOMAS DIMUZIO, ANNIE GOSFIELD ROGER KLEIR,ANDREA ROCCA, VITOR RUA, JOCELYN ROBERT,MUSCI/ VENOSTA/ MARIANI, MASSIMO SIMONINI, HERB HEINZ. MARTIN ARCHER, YASUSHI UTSUNOMIYA, JON LEIDECKER/WOBBLY, STEVAN KOVACS TICKMAYER and BRIAN WOODBURY.
6 years in the making, this is an amazing catalogue of imagination and great music.
Digi-packed with a cover art by EM Thomas, who did all three original art bears covers and containing Art re-mixes in the booklet as well as comprehensive information. This double also contains Collapse from the Ralph Records single, All Hail from the Recommended Sampler and one previously unreleased and unfinished track completed by Fred Frith and Chris Cutler for this release.

3. A free extra CD only available with the box (there are reasons) containing further re-workings by John Oswald, Bob Drake, Fred Frith, Biota, Yasushi Utsunomiya, as well as live Art Bears tracks and a Duck and Cover cover.

4. A thick book of artwork, articles, notes, interviews and commentary on the material, the work process, the tour and the band in general, with photographs, documents and artwork.

I have that Aksak Maboul album on my computer but not on CD, so it's a replacement for that.  I also have all the Art Bears albums on my machine and the debut The Science Group album.

Spoors I don't have and haven't heard.

£40.00

A bargain!

Big smile

Winter Songs is £12:50 on its own.

So the others would be as well.

So you basically get all the albums for about £10 or less ('cause you get two other CDs too).

So buying The Art Box is cheaper overall than buying the albums individually.

I've not logged onto my two Hotmail accounts for ages.

I use Googlemail exclusively now. Big smile

I may get that Magma box yet...

A question: does Konhtarkosz come in an ungainly 2-CD Dual Case?  Mine is broken.

Pat, have you seen the size of Fred Frith's discography? Shocked

It's going to take me ages to get all those!  I have Gravity and that's all so far.

Alex's boxset is too far away. Great Britan is more accessible.

I'll be taking it with me. Wink

I have the full boxset you see.  Alex doesn't.  He doesn't have the box with the studio albums in.

How about Patrick's boxset then?

actually, doing the math in my head... there may only be 1 important e-mail - the other two are daily subscriptions and I had a few unread last night that I was going to attend to today.

Still, the important one is about a camera job, which I hope I don't lose because of stupid hotmail.

Use Googlemail.  It's never failed for me.

Rico, on second thoughts, head for London and take Chris Syzygy's boxset.  It's closer to you too.
