Tough to really say, I mean he really has not been President for very long. I mean, Bush didn't do much his first 8 months.
However, I do like Obama (voted for him) and I approve of his economic plan/philosophies. I have to admit, I havn't followed the news much but I do know he ordered the closure of Guantanamo Bay, has ordered for lobbing reform and has called for more "government transperency" All things I approve of. Anyway, I really do like Obama...first politician I can say that really. So, I hope his Presidency goes well. We shall see. |

Perhaps there's a way we could all band together and throw up in his mouth. On second thought I wouldn't want to get that close.

Aaahhhhh so true. Never got how Republicans are the "economy" party. I guess it does take economic global crisis for people to realize the Reps do NOT benefit the everyday person. Then in 8 years everyone will forget that and blast Democrats because they "raise taxes" even though those are on the wealthy, while cutting middle class taxes and Republicans are the opposite! And Sean Hannity, (along with Rush Limbaugh/O Reilly/Ann Coutler) makes me mad just seeing his face |

Anyone for a Ann Coulter vs Janine Garafolo jello wrestling match?
Followed by Michael Moore vs. Rush? |

I don't know, wouldn't want to be near her...something about Ann Coulter being "Rush Limbuagh in a mini-skirt" is a disturbing image that will never leave

Since we got religion going on, lets flame the other taboo topic!
Personally, I am a huge fan of Obama but was waiting to see how he does. So far, I like what he's doing. I am waiting for criticism to flow in, but I applaud his Middle East actions today. I've been saying for a few years the only way for their to be middle east peace is BOTH sides need to agree and just stop. Not an easy task...and we need to help it by 1. stopping our unnecessary war there. 2. Talking with them honestly and openly 3. Install a little more trust in them 4. Admit our past wrong doings. I know that last one is a real tough issue since we have a tough time admitting problems/mistakes. But we have treated the Arab Countries poorly for a long time. That's in the past though, I think it's important to admit that and am glad Obama wants to move forward. Here's the REALLY touchy issue. It appears he's taking a slightly tougher stance with Israel. I am glad...the US also needs to act more fairly with the 2 sides. |

Obama keeps scoring huge points with many who were (and in many cases rightly so) disgusted with Bushian idiocy , but there is an underlying intelligence in everything he says. Its obvious also that the man knows how to convey a message , wether we agree with the content or not. In many ways, he is the paragon of universality which ,as the US being the ONLY superpower , is about damn time. Lead by example, by righteousness and by intellectual fortitude , that's the true definition of a superpower. The Bush years seem to fade to grey......
