^ Oh nice, I really like that. Kind of knew I would before hearing it. And I like the eerie dark qualities
Here is one by Bruno Pernadas called "Stepping Out of the Light and into the Eternal Darkness of Infinite Despair". Or wait, no, it's just called "Step Out of the Light". It may be called "Step Out of the Light" but this dreamy and loungey jazzy exotica remains quite light and airy. Edited by Logan - September 28 2023 at 17:51 |

I went with a friend to see singer/songwriter roots rocker Grace Potter in concert on Friday, and was impressed. Great high energy performance. I am not too familiar with her work but did listen to her latest album. This song from the album she played for the first time live ever (she claimed on Friday).

Great album, great song, the opening line always makes me smile. If you haven't already, check out some of her earlier work on Youtube. My song recommendations would be Low Road, Hot Summer Nights, Nothing But The Water and the beautiful and emotional song Stars.

^I do enjoy her work with the Nocturnals. Stars was part of her setlist and she delivered emotionally for sure.
And I agree about the opening line. |

This is off my favourite album I have heard from this year (2024) thus far, not that I have heard many albums.

Hi
The Ides of March ... Eleanor Rigby ... and they had a hit called "Vehicle". This first album of theirs is really fine.

^ Thanks, just embedding that to make it easier to view and listen to (quote this post to see code).
For those that don't know how to embed (I do it manually)... Take the identifier after v=, in this case the DKiDW20SdRk part in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKiDW20SdRk then add these tube tags without any spaces [ tube] DKiDW20SdRk [/ tube] Listening now, that's far out. :) Edited by Logan - February 13 2024 at 08:53 |
