RIP Pete. Maybe now that he's gone he'll be inducted into the BBHOF. Or not. ;) Also, RIP John Amos who was in Good Times, Coming to America and other things. Edited by AFlowerKingCrimson - October 01 2024 at 17:40 |

Is he the guy who used to be the singer with Dream Theater before James LaBrie came along?

It's too bad so many don't know the original Iron Maiden singer who made the debut so awesome. Di'Anno made Dickinson look like a cheesy opera singer.

The only time i saw Iron Maiden Paul Di'Anno was still singing with them. The first two lps were great, much more punky energy and darker edge. Saw Bruce Dickinson with Samson soon after, supporting Uriah Heep and Budgie.. ended up playing space invaders with him in the venue foyer before sound checks. Seemed an interesting guy but i'm not a fan of his vocal style or IM generally. RIP Paul.
