Cliff had later ruminated on what he'd been thinking when he found himself staring at the William Shatner Cupcake Maker in aisle 4 at Wondermart.   Sure he liked cupcakes but that was hardly the point.   The twin images of a young, handsome Kirk in gold tunic with phaser rifle in arm on one side of the box and a bloated Shatner with rapidly failing facelift and low-buttoned purple disco shirt on the other was too hard to ignore.   If passed-by today, such a treasure would surely be gone tomorrow, wisely snatched-up by some other twisted cupcake-gorging Trekkie who had the foresight to know Wondermart wouldn't have more than one of these babies for sale.
