I've had a hard time so far participating in this thread, because it deals with the past.  I don't even remember what I had for lunch today.

Love this band when they first started out. From their whole discography, World Coming Down and their debut are my least favorite. I'm glad you mentioned them.

Sagi, Pendragon's `Pure' is a stunner....Man, EXACTLY how a band updates their sound to sound fresh and relevant while still retaining elements of what made people love the band in the first place. Not a bad track on it, and that guitar solo in the second half of `Indigo' is up there with the best!

I chose yesterday instead to listen to `Passion' and, while I still like much of it, I truly think Barrett kind of dropped the ball on that one, and disappeared up his own backside! Too many wordy lyrics, far too much of the metal/harder elements, too determined to ditch the past, not enough focus, too many conflicting ideas....but I actually DO like the rap section in `Empathy' lol!

Nice to see some `Smell of Incense' love too, what a great album!

Oh, and `The Void' too! I was batting on about that endlessly a few weeks back, so I better stick with it!
