Malleus Maleficarum is spot on Clap, although I had  the band Anabis in mind. I don't even know A.F.I. LOL

you are close Guzz : evolution is the key word, it's a term used to describe transitonal forms in evolution and by extension for transitonal forms in general. BTW a German band.

and you got it right,Clap it was either Italian Jazz Rock band 'Bauhaus' or the post punk outfit, I accept both and Yes this rebus was shamelessly easy....but don't be afraid most rebus here are awesome....

OK here comes clue N°1 the track  is the B-side of a single of a famous Prog band and the A-side was composed by the producer of a even more famous not-so prog band.(both arre in PA so) Smile
