It's already on the list. LOL

I have over 1000 albums in my house, some of which I still haven't heard, and still SO many things on my list. Bah! Ouch

I do agree with this. You have really good charts, Pat, but it is missing Rush. Ouch

Hmm, said with a fond smile or a world-weary sigh?! LOL

Little of both?  Wink

No, definitely a smile.  Married life is great.  Embarrassed

Ah, glad to hear it! Tongue

That's why I'll give them some plays in a little bit.
Hmm, which album...

I wanted the idea of voices coming in literally every direction for that one, but I wasn't sure what the voices would be saying---and then it struck me in a stroke of genius to simultaneously make that our one song to elucidate some of our influences, while still providing very great sounding quotes taken out of context to be used to describe different trains of thought.

That was a time-consuming song though; I had to make sure ALL of the voices were as imitated as well as possible, yet still unique, and they had to come in at the perfect times and from the right direction.

Some of the quotes took a while because we kept cracking up. Good times. LOL

Ah, the conversation had sort of widened to 'vaguely experimental 70s Italian music' by then, rather than just 'stuff that reminds one of Area'! LOL  I might have to check this out some time...

I think I actually played that recently.  I'm thinking more like Fly By Night, something older.

Cracking up, eh?!  Now there's the authentic TMR spirit.  '...bulbous also tapered!'  '...no, but you have to wait until I say "Also, a tin teardrop"...'  You should have left it in!

Well, it's all over now.  Hard to draw conclusions on a first listen - and there's a lot going on in there!  Definitely some good moments though.  Part of me was doing 'spot the influence' (which never helps with coming to a sensible opinion!!)...  I'll say more when I've listened again, I think.

Good work though - quite an achievement! Clap  It's not easy to pull off that style of music, especially in a debut album.

If I had left all the bad trials in, it would sound really screwed up. Would have been interesting, I suppose. LOL

I love TMR though. Just listened to it the other day. Magic. Thumbs Up

It definitely was alot of work, but I'm really glad with the end result. It felt wonderful to get it finally released. Now just for the 2nd one to come out! It's finished, but I haven't copyrighted it or anything yet.

Some self-promotion, but it'll give you an idea about what to expect from Battiato
