Sorry, it's against my principles to buy anything connected with beetroot. Besides, they only had cheese and onion.

It's funny how quickly you can go off people isn't it. Sometimes before you've even met them. |

morning chaps!
ooooh, what a weird feeling, almost a year in the planning and now the tour is over. Yesterday was a massive boxing day, and we had planned to go for lunch at our favourite ickle place, then do nothing.............. but he ended up dashing into London to rescue one of the crew at St.Pancras. (Although I had a jolly fine lunch with Barney! ) Nose back to the grindstone today................ very busy now the boss is back although I was very busy whilst he was away, it's got silly now. No peace for the wicked! Great to meet Chopper & Blacksword at the weekend, sorry I didn't have much time spare, and sorry also to waffle on about beetroot I meant to ask you about hiking and things...... It was an odd & emotional evening one way or another, poor scott and his snare............. 30 gigs and on the last gig! Anyway, thank goodness we got it all sorted pretty quick. It must be you Chop, we've played their 3 times now and it's our only disaster to date................ although I was in the van hunting for snare parts so didn't see what was going on, I heard that Nick did a brave job rambling on................ I think I have now met almost all the UK Greys and you still let me in! wow! that's fairly incredible. One last thing. No, I don't like Rick Astley, Donny is SPESH ok! R x |

Hi Rach - glad to hear all went well on Saturday (exploding snare notwithstanding) - what are the Pendies up to now?
New album (check) New tour (check) Are they just wandering around in circles like an old Spike Milligan sketch saying "What are we going to do now, What are we going to do now, What are we going to do now"? |

Great to meet you as well Rach. Shame it was only long enough for me to part with huge amounts of cash for Pendragon CDs. Any time you want to talk hiking just PM me. Great gig btw. I've just posted my review, read the first para. If you missed the "interlude" just ask Nick about the Sherbet Fountain!

you know what? at Bilston we got no exploding snare drums or lively banter about Sherbet Fountains..
I think I'd like a partial refund...

Too right Jared, complain to Rach immediately.
btw the Sherbet Fountain banter also included a small section about the joys of Blackjacks and Fruit Salad for those in the audience of a certain age (and that included just about everybody).
I think "exploding" may be exaggerating a wee bit, but the search for the van keys was highly amusing (especially when Nick shouted "I think Rachel's got them"). Edited by chopper - November 10 2008 at 09:58 |

I wish! Busy as anything Jim, we've got the general release of PURE in Jan 09 so that needs arranging with a media hit, plus the live DVD to edit, Nick's writing already, and there is a 22 date Script tour starting mid Jan, so lots to do! Busy busy busy............... and we're loving it! I missed the sherbert fountain gag........... mainly due to the fact that I had the van key! but it all seemed like good fun! Out glass is definitely half full rather than half empty, we're on a roll! |
