One of the most unusual albums I own, and that's saying a lot.  It's a trip.

^Damn Steve!
That was one of my top contenders for best throw back album of the year 2012. I think it's a wonderful welcome back to how BJM sounded in the 90sBig smile

It is indeed, although, as you say, a strange one.

And so is Ga'an, so far, a trip that is. Love how the tracks fade into each other to make it feel like one long track, or trip, if you will. Thanks for the heads up on that free download, David!

Yeah, I think it's one of their best I've heard.  It sounds much more carefully arranged and produced (though not overproduced at all) than most of their rough-and-ready 90s albums.  There's a distinct sense of pan-ethnicity - not just the Brit worship of the past, but stretching across western and eastern europe, it seems.

I agree with with what you're saying, and maybe it's the melodies, but I definitely hear a welcome back to form. Sure it's better produced, but then again it has toLOL

Really dig the eastern touches too - and the art work, which I feel is their best yet.

If you look closely, there's even some nudity in there.  OOPS I SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID THAT

Actually, I'd forgotten for a moment what I was listening to - wondering what was this lovely eastern instrumental with a flute solo.  ("Face Down on the Moon").  Not what you usually expect with this band.

LOLI was just about to mention that tune... That one is definitely a new comer to the material, although the feel is still undeniably BJM.

and yeah how about that nudity? Makes me feel all tingly inside - like a little jello June bug y'know?
