I just bought The Children of Hurin by JRR Tolkien and Christopher Tolkien.
Should be epic.

I guess I need to get it now.

I'm not sure if you're into extreme stuff, I know your #1 is technical stuff. But if you like earraping experiences than you'll love it.

I dig extreme stuff, and avant, just not br00tal metal or black metal, usually.

You can trust me on this then, it's a musical mindf**k more than unbearable distorsion and riffs. Smile

Alrighty then, I'll look for it this weekend.

Indeed.  I don't know if it's possible to go too far on 4chan, though.

I've heard amazing things about it, so we'll see.

I bought it on Amazon for literally $0.06, in hardback. Of course, shipping was $3.99... Angry LOL

So you're a fan of Tolkien, Joel?

It is.  One person sent me to a shock site that was very close to being illegal.

Kevin, you need to become prog reviewer in the next two, maximum three months, in order to vote for Deathspell Omega, Agalloch, Kayo Dot, Intronaut et all in the Collaborator's top albums list. Otherwise we're going to get flooded with retro-prog junk.

Of course I have.  It's pretty amazing, like everything else Kubrick has made.

I am indeed; my favourite is still The Hobbit, although The Children of Hurin is second easily.

Yes, I'm an avid Tolkien fan.
The Hobbit is also my favorite, though not by much.

Here's mine:
The Hobbit
The Lord of the Rings
The Silmarillion

...all very close, though.
