Don't feel bad, I don't really care for the Residents either.  Wink

I gave it three stars! Because it's an OKish album. And despite the fact that I only really like about three of the songs on it.

I'd rather you review it how you really feel about it; that's what reviews are all about.

It would be better as 5 stars, but meh. Tongue

It still is a good review; I respect your opinion. Smile

BLASPHEMY Angry

I love them to death, but especially Eskimo. I've never heard another album like that in my life. It's amazing to listen to during the winter. Thumbs Up

I know, but I want to write a reeeeeaaally good review for Still Life (comparable with my Pawn Hearts and Ys reviews) and I haven't managed it yet.

I do need more, yes. I only have one album, their debut.

I just love how silly it is. Tongue  Billed as an anthropological recording, but... it isn't.

Also, just in general... eyeballs and skulls = weird-but-cute!

Playing your album right now actually, 'Lost Wanderings' is the best track so far.

I do too. The thing I like the most about it though is that it's like being transported intellectually into a very unique, yet intriguing world. I can picture some neat stuff while listening to it. Big smile

I actually agree with you there. The Residents are cuddly! LOL

Awesome. Thumbs Up

I love that song; I composed the entire thing myself. Took so much work, but it was worth it. I personally think the 2nd half of the album is better than the 1st though.

Yes, he most certainly did. Big smile  In related zeuhl-purchasing news, I also bought myself a limited edition Guapo poster - currently being framed at vast expense (the framing will cost much more than the print!!).

And 2009 has got off to a good start.  I got engaged on New Year's day! Big smile Heart

I Concur. Big smile  Area is all-round fantastic stuff.

Somebody was recommending Deus ex Machina to me earlier - as in "If you like Area, you'll like Deus ex Machina".  Anyone heard them?

I have not, but I've seen their name mentioned several times and I'm intrigued.
