whilst we have every sympathy with your plight, Steve, and wish you a speedy recovery...
would you kindly take your snotty nose and box of tissues out onto the veranda? you're filling the atmosphere with air-borne diseases...

Look on the bright side - a day off work, the house to yourself, nobody to complain when you put one of your favourite albums on...
come to think of it I'm feeling a bit sniffly myself at the moment...

Although I feel like S*** I have to say my first day off in years is being extremely productive, now if only my Mind Key DVD turns up in a minute I will feel better already!

Vicky, I don't think he has 'flu... I just think he's allergic to Raff's cats..
you should see the Heavy Prog hang...cat hairs, scratched cushions and rather lifelike toy mice everywhere...
what? you mean they aren't 'toys'?
eeeeewwwww....

Ignore her Steve - she's just showing the female gender's usual disdain for all things Man-Flu related.
Speaking as a male of the species, and one who recently suffered as you are now, you have my sympathies... just remember to sneeze out of the window.
No! Open it first!
I'm not cleaning that up

That just about sums it up
Mind you, the link just to the right of that one "how women get away with...." certainly explains my headaches recently

ermm....the Ranting Room is along the corridor, down the fire escape and the third door on the left..
I believe Blacksword presently has the key...

I was just kidding, Rob...
we all feel your rage and righteous indignation, my friend...
(well, come to think of it, Jim and I don't, 'cos neither of us have any savings...)

changing the subject, have any of you noticed how, now that Rachel has her man back, she is promiscuous by her absence?
while he was swanning off around Europe with that lovely Mrs Pointer, we were Rach's constant solace, moral support and source of comfort and understanding...
and now, we don't even get the passing time of day....I can't help feeling we've been cast aside like an unwanted shoe...
