I dunno, given what I had heard and the presentation of the album, I was expecting some very crushing nutso-jazz metal that was sonically very dense, and instead I got some modestly heavy metal with warbly keys and weird noises. Although I did like the hectic sections when the sax entered the fray a lot.

It's jazzier, heavier, denser and much better and doesn't have average vocals, as it's instrumental.
