Yeah, that happened with me and Dahlia at first too, because she had just signed up and listened to bands/artists that weren't in my discography or weren't as high... and because there are hardly any plays, it takes it in percentages. She's been my 2nd highest neighbor now for months (after David).

It'll adjust and work much more efficiently once you get about 1,000 plays in there. Another reason is because I haven't heard some of those bands that you've scrobbled yet.

I tried to friend Dahlia but she ignored me.  LOL

Yeah, it's a long story, and I'm not even entirely 100% knowledgeable of everything myself. I won't bore you with details unless you really want to hear it.

She also has NO one she knows from the internet as a friend of hers on last.fm any longer; they're only people she knows in person. To be frank, I'm surprised she's still allowed to use the computer as often as she is for the time being. Confused

g'morning Alex. I'm doing just dandy! No work today (crappy day-job, anyways) so I'm on PA for a couple of minutes and then I'm going to be editing all day.

How are both y'all?

Congrats on the promotion, by the way 'Lerxt!

That's because he's listened to all of the obscure RIO bands that I haven't yet. LOL

I wouldn't mind hearing the story (you can PM it to me if you prefer), sounds really crappy though.  She was a really nice girl, I always liked talking to her.

Sounds great. And thanks. Big smile

I'm hanging in there, enjoying my last few days of Winter Break before going back on Monday... but I'm ALMOST ready to go back (it's perfect timing), because it's not like I don't have loads of free time during the school year anyway. LOL

Oh, and headbanging to Opeth. Hug

I can certainly tell you then. Just be warned: the PM may be extremely long and rambling. I don't know where to start. LOL

She's not gone forever; it's only a matter of temporary waiting.

I'm doing well, Mike.  I did listen to Narrow-Caster the other day.  Not quite my cup of tea, but I can see why a lot of people are digging it.

I remember bitching about having to go to school and do a part time job at the same time, now that I'm in the 'real world' I realize just how much time I had!!

Aint nothing RIO about that one. I didn't think it was going to be your thing. It's been one that I keep going back to though - very good.

I listened to Mike's review and a sample of a song, and I have to say I'm intrigued. I just may check that album out soon to see if I like it.

Well I do like to try and branch out a bit, I don't want to be all RIO all the time....
...except that I sort of do.  Embarrassed

I was saying yesterday, I love IZZ but every other modern symph/neo band does nothing for me.  No idea why.

apparently they get compared to IZZ a lot. But I cant speak to that because I've never heard an IZZ album.

3RDegree's debut album sounds like 80s Rush with Phideaux singing though, it's awesome!
