My mistake, Joan Baez is that folky chick that wrote all those Judas Preist songs. Joni Mitchell is the folky chick that wrote all those Counting Crows songs.

There's a whole network of underground Presence lovers; you should also check Easy Livin's excelent review. But still Actoywchohn's review remains one of the best reviews I've ever read on the PA. I'd say we Presence lovers can rest - but not long, as a "war" awaits: inclusion for "No Quarter" in prog-related at least must be forced through.
So how's the Eastern European tour of the Noobs, fellaz? I'm already tracking down some illegal Noobs bootlegs from Belgrade and Budapest!

"No Quarter," possibly the best classic Viking metal song on the market. Even better than Tull's entries, I'd wager.

You could...maybe make someone slip on it. That would be very hair-progressive.

Well, I hope you're all happy. Everyone else's lack of initiative has forced me to form a counter band with some of my stoner friends from school.
However, keeping in mind that we are all very irresponsible, lazy and forgetful, the odds of the Noobs being replaced is remarkably low.

too bad, you forming a side project would be just the kind of 'artistic split' the N00bs need to carry on their tradition of confusion, tension and resentment.

its good that that's part of the tradition, because I'm severely confused

Hey, if it's confusion you want, an alternative band of stoners desperately trying to jam/figure out what genre we're in/figure out a band name is...gosh, that's a lot like the Noobs anyways...

OK, but don't forget your contract-- you can't do anything that would be creative or satisfying for the next 3 years, so...

HA! Like I'd ever do anything that would fill either of those categories at all.

Okay, this is an outrage:
I looked through all the profiles, and not one was the Noobs! I'm sending them an email suggesting they take us into consideration.
Oh, and, I changed the profile picture to our rip-off of Red. Unless you think the one with the gorilla is better. But I think they wants a band picture with the band. Weird, huh?
Oh, and, there's the link.

The Red cover is a rip off of 'With the Beatles', so I don't think our rip off would bother anyone...
..and what's wrong with the Maynard Triplets? They look fine to me.

Right. I heard what I wanted to hear.
Oh, and, I signed the email "Alan" for "Alan Smithee." Of course, if they trace it back here, then we're all screwed. But oh well. In this business, if you're not ready to get screwed, then dude, you're TOTALLY geting screwed. That's what my pappy always used to tell me.
