Tom Smothers (86)
RIP
I cut my comedy teeth on the Smothers Brothers. Seeing them on the Ed Sullivan Show in the mid '60's and then their own show.

^ Oh, terrible.   He was magnificent in everything he did-- the CIA plant in The Ghost Writer, the mobster in Batman Begins, the husband transitioning in Normal, and of course all of his better-known roles over the decades.

A huge loss to acting.

That's a big one. RIP! I have made an own thread for him.
Other than being German, the article also isn't very well informed. Chris Karrer has made albums with ADII well after 1980 and even in 2009, and played live with them at least up to Covid times.

My God. All these icons of music and TV passing lately. Very sad. RIP to all of them.

Tony Clarkin, Guitarist with Magnum, passed away aged 77 after a short illness with an incurable spinal illness. Saw Magnum a few times in the early 80's and really enjoyed their mix of progressive tinged melodic hard rock back then. I know they have a real hardcore following of fans for whom this news will be devastating. RIP Tony and deepest condolences to family, friends and fans.
