That's my favourite today too, after listening to that album yesterday. Great tune!

I think Free Hand is my favorite Gentle Giant song.  I know i placed it at #1 in a recent Top 10 GG thread.  Fearsomely complex but with lots of great hooks too.

That is a great one.  People who think Bob's out of gas in his old age ought to give it a listen.

Colin Blunstone - "Though You Are Far Away".

Now that we have ADII in The Battle of the Bands, it got me thinking: "I wanna listen to this."

ADII - "Archangel's Thunderbird".

All 33.35 minutes of the full version of Miles revolutionary 1967-masterpiece Circle in the Round. Sadly only made available on this six CD boxset.

If you stumble over it fairly priced do not hesitate to buy :

Today it's:

-In the Pines - The Louvin Brothers
-Dark as a Dungeon - Performed by Charlie Louvin
-Hello, Dolly! - Louis Armstrong
-The Hanging Tree - Marty Robbins
-Maggot Brain - Funkadelic

Can you spot the odd man out? It belongs there, but it is odd.

Devo - Don't Roof Rack Me, Bro. (Seamus Unleashed)

Some of the description:
Devo's Jerry Casale wants it to be known that their newest song, "Don't Roof Rack Me, Bro," isn't meant as a partisan statement -- even though it viciously mocks Mitt Romney for strapping his Irish Setter, Seamus, to the roof of his car for a 1983 family vacation.

I don't really have a favorite song on any given day though I do shuffle through the collection but at this stage in life it seems pointless.

It didn't seem particularly vicious to me.  Even if it isn't meant as a partisan statement it seems he is buying into the false equivalency thing.  That it doesn't matter who is elected.  It does if you don't have money.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
