People complain about Kayo Dot not having any melodic 'hooks' in their songs, I don't get it, don't people listen to prog to listen to stuff that is as far away from pop as possible, and yet they complain about a band lacking in a feature that is a huge element in pop music?

I've had some of my biggest arguments about music with people who listen to prog. Take Pink Floyd for example.....*prepares to run far away*

Seriously folks, if you're complaining about a lack of melodic hooks in a prog band, ask yourself why you even listen to prog. I feel sorry for anyone that honestly needs melodic hooks to maintain their rather low attention spans.
