Heytanner--- A few days ago when I was CD shopping in Philadelphia I came across a flyer wherein it said that Guided by Voices were playing in concert there that night - like, in the venue right next door to the shop. They may have been walking around bar hopping for all I know. Unfortunately, it was not in the cards for me to go to said concert.
I bought a Sigur Ros album at that store too, and the guy at the store said, "oh yeah, you going to see their concert?" They were to be playing there in a couple of weeks. Yow.

^Haken is awesome. I don't like ppl calling them metal. Cause they ain't metal. It's just some good old prog rock. :-D
It's cheesy, but the RIGHT amount of cheese. (I'm looking at the band ACT) Hah
True, they get heavy, maybe even have a metal moment here and there, but I agree it's just very heavy prog rock, though you cannot deny the DT influence. I like the jazz-fusion touches, especially from the bassist.
