ooh, by the way...I didn't get Jim's suggestion of I Giganti because, as I'd been warned, it's now OOP, but I snagged the mini LP of Chocolate Kings, and the Dik Dik album - looking forward to that oneThumbs%20Up

I can't believe how lucky I got.  I got Giganti less than 2 months ago from Wayside for $15.  Akarma mini-LP gatefold with the poster.

If you want to see the poster, its shown in the latest entry in my blog (vote in my Italian prog poll while you're there!)

Then, if you can explain the significance of the milk and teeth comment on the poster, and what it means with regard to the album, I'd appreciate that!LOL

Isn't that just the greatest...live Neil stuff from that period...man...don't care if he's not ItalianLOL  Neil gets a guest pass on my page, along with Syd.

oh yea that's the perfect intro track....it could be the ISP team's theme song but I've already given that honor to a Jim Croce song (haha long story).  The other Bacio tracks I've heard are very moody and romantic, they don't even sound like the same band...I love that!

speaking of modern groups, have you heard the Zuffanti projects Mick; so far I'm only into Maschera di Cera, but I hear good things about Finisterre and HostsonatenSmile

same here.. to the letter.. .

honestly.... the post 70's (non Battiato albums) I have I can count on two hands.

of those... the Randone album I asked about earlier ^ is my favorite... by a long shot.... overtook Ubi Maior some time back..... an album I may review if none of you have heard it.  Was an Andrea C. recommendation.

Hmm...I'll have to check back with that Randone album.  I thought I heard that one but it could have been something else by them (iirc, they had a track on the disappointing Spaghetti Epic tribute).  My knowledge is miniscule on newer bands...embarassing compared to Slim and Andrea C.
