Have you heard any IQ, Pablo?

They would be right up your alley, I think.

Heard 2 of their albums, the 2nd one and Dark Matter. Dark Matter is Retro, but I don't find much to enjoy, still they're excellent musicians.

Dark Matter is good, but it's a different sound than their other albums.

I'd recommend The Seventh House, Ever, and Subterranea (in that order) for your tastes.

Hmm, could you have said that before Christmas?LOL

It would. LOL

I should base one of my band's concept albums on this conversation. LOL

I could actually manage that either to be really cool, or absolutely suck. LOL

Awesome. Hope you like it! I like our second album more, but it's not out yet. Tongue

I listened to it again earlier, even though I've heard it like 150 times. I'm doing this now:

A bit too wierd and minimalistic for my taste for most of the time (I did like "Creeping Conflicts" and "Concluding Conflicts" though).
I am however very impressed that you guys managed to put an album together! Clap

Thanks! I'm glad you listened to it and gave feedback. Smile

2nd one should be free and released about two months from now, and expands upon the style in the 1st (less electronic, more experimental). I have it finished, but I didn't think releasing them both simultaneously was a good idea.

Starting ideas on the 3rd now, and the directions we could take are absolutely endless. This will probably more song-oriented effort though. It'll be our first album to have vocalists, and 6 or 7 at that.

Silent Knight

cacho, You might find that you would like Saga too.  They are a crossover/neo prog band from Canada.  They probably most compare to a band like IQ.

Still Animals for me, since I took a short break.

I'm not sure what's up for listening after it... I'm open to suggestions.
