Lulz, some guy on the Kayo Dot shoutbox is mad as hell because Toby and Jeremiah made a video mocking a sh*tload of Coyote/Stained Glass reviews, and one of his was included.

3. Tube amp
4. No Boss/Digitech pedals
5. ???
6. Guitar success

It's basically that simple.

Strat? So cliche.

Besides that's a bit much for me. My formula:

1. Get cheap, but effective Ibanez
2. Get cheap, but effective Line 6
3. Play Metal

Far from the best equipment I got, but I got it all for less than what my roomie paid for his guitar alone. And sounds decent enough.

f**k yearh

1. Paul Reed Smith Custom 24
2. Orange Rockerverb 100 w/ 4x12 amp
3. Big Muff fuzz
4. Neunaber Technology WET reverb
5. Warm, warm walls of fuzz on my skin

My guitar starts to get weaker and weaker every day. Chords higher than the 3th fret will all sound out of tune now.
Also I broke a string, and I would get a new one if I didn't have to go 10 kilometers on my bike through 10 centimeters of snow.

you don't have any of those things, how do you know it will sound good?

I'm pretty happy right now running my Danelectro (with flatwounds, tuned DADFAE) straight into my Tweaker.  Tones be abound

1. Parker Fly
2. Peavy Stereo Chorus 212
3. Line6 Pod XT Live
4. Practice your ass off and tell your wife to shut up she's ruining your dreams by asking you to turn it down or better yet turn it off and empty the dishwasher and take the trash out because damn it you are Yngwie f**king Malmsteem today and if you don't work really hard you'll never be able to get the 32nd note triplet solos that Joe Satriani would have you learn if he were actually your teacher but f**k it anyway because Wheel of Fortune is on
5. Curse the one guy because he bought a vowel when he should've just solved the damn thing.

Yeah, my parents went once and it sounded amazing.
It gets better, he said "Dad I don't think there's ANY affiliation...its just music" and he responded with you can't have no affiliation. Either with or against us   LOL
Then again, he did throw out his son's Disturbed CD because it was all "satanist" and junk

nah Kevin, my friend don't like post metal. Said its terrible and all is the same.
He sooooo doesn't get it.

And we all thought Hitler and Mussolini didn't really get a long since they were both stubborn, authoritarian leaders.
Turns out Hitler was a hipster and Benito was a damn conformist!

This was his father keep in mind, not him.
Anything heavy is bad LOL

But seriously, he was convinced listening to this would turn him off the good path, and read the song titles and deduced each one got progressively worse and was a path to hell yadda yadda yadda
It was hilarious.

I had to sneak the latest Atheist CD into his house. Went right by his dad. Was awesome bro Cool

Your friend's dad needs some Nattens. I'm sure it will change his mind.
