The Detroit Free Press called Michigan for Clinton. Wayne County (Detroit) is not in yet. Not really sure how they Can make thAt call but I hope they are right.

OH please Mic..of course none of us believed you, but you were doing everything short of proclaiming a TX win. She wont win GA, AZ, UT...or frankly OH. Hell Wisconsin has flipped red. JUST heard about "lower turnout than expected" in Detroit.... Hope lots of Dems learn the lesson of "dont be arrogant" from this.

that kind of night I suppose  My computer crahed on me and had to reboot it. Then I about spit my beer all over the monitor seeing Hillary up 19 points in Iowa... I do have to say... I wouldn't have lost money on Texas.. but would have on Hillary's over under on 300 Electoral votes... I estimated 65-35 on Hillary going over 300.. and would have put money on a routine Obamaesque win... I see Republicans are as surprised as all of us at how close this is... This not what the polls were calling for.. not just the public ones.. not the private internal ones. Trump knew he was beaten earlier today...it showed in his demeanor.. confirmed by his private polling... and I imagine Hillary is a bit of shock...

that says it all right there.... no one... no poll had Trump approaching 50% of the popular vote.... I think the swammi Silver himself had the chance of Trump doing that at... what.. less than 1% Granted the west will knock his number down.. but still.. he is FAR outperforming any.. ANY polling done prior to the election.

not that I still think Trump is going to win this... 3 of the 4 Hillary firewall states are still intact... but yeah... for the first time... like ever.. really considering the serious possibility of a Trump Presidency. and wasn't a doomsday scenario for Trump being one.. that seemed far fetched at the time.. that losing Utah to that McMullen guy was what kept him from reaching 270. I might have to stay up for this one....

hey .. I was wrong... already owned up to it. Smarter people than me were just as wrong... so I ain't alone as far as all the rest.... I know I will... hell all historians will be dissecting this election with surgical precision. No one saw this coming... how could they... there was nothing to suggest they could. He is outperforming any polls ever taken...

crap... and I have to be at work at 6:30... so off to bed... though I suppose we won't have a winner till very late if we get one at all hahahhah look closely at Pima County Arizona... less than 5% in... with a large part of the state counted. heavily Clinton..and still fairly close in overall vote likely Arizona is the decider... so tomorrows topic.... if Trump wins....was Trump the best thing for Democrats...short term pain for long term gain... he will likely kill the Republican Party..drive latinos into the generation Democratic fold....did America think Bush was bad.. in wrecking our economy....hah... you ain't seen nothing yet and force (years earlier than planned) a radical shift leftward of the Democratic Party. interesting... I had heard it said losing to Clinton would have been bad enough for the Republican Party.. worse... would have been beating her. No way to sweep him under the carpet now...
