Alex, what Dungen did you listen to? I'm interested if it's better than 2007's Tio Bitar (which I still like, but totally leaves an empty space for greatness)

OTSOL/UTD/TSMS/Sig totally rapes anything else PT made.

I agree.

Except about OTSOL

Actually, if you exchange Voyage 34 with OTSOL I agree 100%.

OTSOL, yeah, it has flaws, but there are signs there of what SW was capable of, and what he would develop in later albums.

Metanoia =/= Voyage 34

Good, but pretty average, although Metanoia is an excellent study album.

Nine Cats, Radioactive Toy, The Nostalgia Factory and This Long Silence are classics, although the rest is so-so imo.

Kids these days...

@Rico: the 2004 release, Ta Det Lugnt, is excellent, and it's the best rated even here on PA.

A TOAD STOOD IN HIS BALLET SHOES
TEACHING SIXTEEN KANGAROOS

Nine Cats is probably my favourite track from OTSOL, although the acoustic version on the 2CD rerelease of signify is fantastic.

I love it how all the kids my age on the Porcupine Tree forums hate Linton Samuel Dawson so much, its hilarious. I find it quiet catchy to be honest

It is an epic homage to psych pop.

Also, I don't go near any PT forums, I'd just rage at all the FoABP fanboyism.

Most of the people on the official one are pretty good, I originally signed up to ask if it was possible to get a legal copy of the demo version of Stupid Dream, Ambulance Chasers. Although all the hardcore fans were raging about how they still play Trains live, because they're getting sick of seeing it live so often. WHAT ABOUT US WHO HAVEN'T GONE TO A PT CONCERT YET

I'd rather see about 20 songs than Trains.

I'd like a live version of Deadwing or the 14 minute cut of Even Less, although I doubt that'll ever really happen. The only track I'd trade off for a live version of Trains would be Fadeaway.
