I didn't sleep till 5 a.m last night so I should sleep pretty well tonight

I don't take notes on topics that can easily be found on books or teh interwebz.

I hate outlining. I would much rather read the book than read my own summary. Unless it's notes from a lecture, I hate outlining.

I also don't understand underlining. (I very rarely read the same book twice, so underlining while I'm reading serves no purpose at all. (But if parts of the book have already been underlined by someone else, I might only read those parts Embarrassed

)).

You should be encouraged to absorb information the way it suits you, not the way it suits them.

I once read about a man who couldn't sleep, I think he died in ~~a couple of weeks~~ a few months in a not very healthy state k (but he wasn't really "awake" either k )
