Johnny Fean, the singer and guitarist for Horslips, has passed away at age 71. He was a true gentleman in addition to his musical talents. RIP Johnny.

RIP Linda Lewis, died aged 72. Vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and backing singer with many great artists including David Bowie, Steve Harley, Rick Wakeman, Rod Stewart and the Faces and most memorably for me on Family's classic 'Bandstand' lp to name just a few. A beautiful lady with a fantastic, versatile 5-octave range voice.
Also, notably, she opened the Knebworth 1975 show featuring Roy Harper, Steve Miller band, Captain Beefheart and headliners Pink Floyd

Oh, yes, a great loss.

In Italy nobody knows him.

For the past few years I have been listening to it with great pleasure.

By far my favorite member of SKY, he composed the awe-inspiring "FIFO" suite on their second album. The "Watching the Aeroplanes" movement is one of the greatest suite-closers EVER!

Absolutely loved him in M*A*S*H* (1970 film), as well as the TV series, but mostly the movie.
Lest we forget The Running Man. Thumbs Up

RIP Big Jim
