I ordered Shub Niggurath's Introduction and Guapo's Five Suns + Black Oni yesterday.
And I'm still waiting for Miriodor's Rencontres
Les mains, les pieds balancés
Sur tant de mers, tant de planchers,
Un marin mort,
Il dormira

Be prepared for some heavy listening experiences
Smile

Both Shub and Guapo are some of my favorite Magma inspired groups

Mine too.

You're very modest, Udi.  You also helped out on that remastered Introduction. Wink

I was listening to Black Oni in the car today.  It's fantastic driving music!

UNIVERS ZERO-Heresie (remixed, remastered and expanded)

Never have Daniel's cymbal's so clearly sizzled with such menace or has Guy's bass gone so low into the underworld.
Fantastic, revelatory remix, as done previously on the reissue of "Univers Zero" and includes a doubly revelatory bonus track from very early in the group's life. One of the most significant avant-progressive rock albums of the very late 1970s just got even more significant!)

Ooooh.

A change of cover too, back to the original.  I never was that keen on the group photo cover.

Also, what is it with Guy Segers in a wheelchair?

Its a joke they were having fun
There are additional photos from that session on the late Impetus magazine's RIO edition
When I showed them To Roger Trigaux  the first time he was here it made him laugh so hard tears were rolling
from his eyes (there is an additional photo were they are buried up tp their necks in dirt)
btw the first time he  came to Israel we waited for him at the airport with a wheel chair lol LOL
10 later and the state he is in i guess its not so funny ...

So is it Roger or Guy that was in the wheelchair?

Seeing this, for me, is like Homer Simpson seeing doughnuts. And a case of Duff.

I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

I'm especially excited since I don't even have the older CD release, I'm holding off until this is released.

When will this be released?  I have a Wayside order pending and may just wait 'til this is out.

From UZ's website:
•  Re-mixing of  the second CD «HERESIE» takes place during the first quarter of 2010. To be released in September 2010 .

It sounds like Udi and the band have already remixed it.  Can we have it now please?

Wow, that UZ album looks fantastic!

In other news James Huggett of Combat Astronomy sent me Lunink (limited to 100 copies), their split with sleeping with the earth, and an advanced copy of their new album Earth Divided by Zero, which I received today. Approve

Oh apparently, you can buy the new one  now, but it's still awesome. Tongue

I am sorry if something I pasted mislead anyone to believe I am involved in this
I am just in friendly terms with the band and its long time engineer Didier De Roos  (a truly unsung hero of mine btw)

I imagine this will be released  circa  September

Then I have at least two things to look forward to in September now, this and the Magma concert in DC.

Oh, many apologies, Udi.  I thought you were involved in this.

I'm still looking forward to it though.

Oh and Luke... you lucky swine! Angry
