Topic: Post all the Avatars!! Posted: March 07 2013 at 22:16 |
Hey guys, I'd just like to make this thread for everyone to post their avatars that they've used over the years here. I understand that this will probably be harder for the guys who've been here longer but I encourage you to just give it a try. Thanks
Here are mine:
I think that's it

Hmmm, well, I think I've used this one: and this one: and sometimes even this one:

This is difficult. There's a few I don't remember but have a vague idea about. My first one was the negative of an image of half my face wearing glasses. I don't have that one anymore. Then:
A theme starts. Short-lived:
Slightly more successful:
One of my longer running ones:
My avatar in MMA, used here just for a while:
A variation, not for too long:
A sudden break to the master of all that is evil (and my only apparition in an avatar):
A necessary return:
And finally, my current one, longest running one and probably one I will never change:

@ bytor2112: I was actually thinking about having Bobby Wyatt for myself once. Anyway, ... here's my cast of characters (sorry for the messy arrangement, and I don't believe I got the chronological order right): First row: [Peter Gabriel] [Florian Fricke] [Ian Anderson, Barry Gibb, and the ball at the first level of Supaplex (1)] [Ian Anderson, Barry Gibb, and the ball at the first level of Supaplex (2)] [Rick Wright] [my folk hero Bert Jansch]
Second row: [Bert Jansch smoking it away] [Anne Briggs in her prime] [Bob Fripp] [Frosty the Snowman reading Kama Sutra while holding some girl] [Bob "celebrating" X-mas] [Red Forman, another legend of our planet]
Third row: [Another terrestrial legend, Steven Hyde (as a doctor in That 70's Show's version of The Six Billion Dollar Man)] [Annie Haslam] [ALF ... in an attempt to eat the Tanners' cat] [angel Bob] [Jeff Bingham in his moment of confusion] [Jeff Bingham ... trying to figure out whether or not his "pal" Mr. Adam Rhodes is gay]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Wow, ... 18 avatars. Maybe I should slow down.

^ Because we look hideous, Ady, ... and because I wish I had the skills to play the guitar like Bert ... and have such vocal abilities so as to sing as high and as sweetly as Anne Briggs.

nah no such thing as hideous dude......be yourself and dont try to be someone else i say .......i know some might say it represents their fave artist or whatever......i just get away with it by wearing a teeshirt......and what if someone thinks you are ugly?.......to be honest if that was me at the receiving end it wouldnt bother me........had too many people in my life call me weird to me face which dont effect me anymore so if someone was to say something about me face online i'd just laugh....as i aint the one hiding.

No I am another one who has used a photo of themself. I have only ever had this avatar and it just happens to be me. Even though you can't tell who I am...or how old I am for that matter. Wanna guess?!!
