This may be cutting it a bit close seeing as we're 2 weeks away from the season opening but I thought I'd give it a shot. If we could get a minimum of 8 (max12-16) people interested then I'd be happy to set up and run the Prog Fantasy Football League. Sign up in this thread or pm me. At first just state you're interested and would participate, and if we get enough people then  I'll pm everyone with league sign up information. Also, this will be a free league, no money required, just a positive attitude and a love of football.

I've tried the past two years to get this going, but we haven't had enough people. You can put me down for participating.

6 more to go!

Maybe a little incentive is necessary. As stated before this is a free league, no money required. However, I would be willing to give a prize to the winner. How about a progarchives t-shirt, any color any size, shipped to the winner.

I suppose I'd be in but, as Equality pointed out, this idea has been a dud for years.

I haven't seen Brian around, but he was game for the previously abandoned go arounds of this idea.

I'd play, but I don't know how it works.  Is it hard?  Does it require a lot of time?  How's it work?

I'm good, won my first time and would've won the second easily but one poor game killed me :(

It can be kinda hard/time consuming if you want it to be, but you can make it easy as well.

As long as you watch football, it doesn't take much time aside from the draft and it's not hard.

Do I have to watch football?  Can't I just pick people and go?

Yes, but it would be nice if you checked your players weekly so you're not playing hurt players or playing people who are on their bye week.

We got 6 people, 7 if Epignosis plays, so we are pretty close to getting something started. Any suggestions on what day of the week the draft should be?

Also, I have no problem being the commissioner, but if someone else would like to do it speak now and then you can get the ball rolling on creating the league and invites. Otherwise I will be creating the league in the next few days and sending out invites once we get 1-2 more confirmations....

*I will be using yahoo for the league, and will stick fairly close to their default point system, so if anyone has a problem with that please let me know.

As long as you're active and pay attention to things like injuries and bye weeks, then yes you could play it strictly as a statistical game.

If we can't get 8 people total I'd be more than willing to play in a 6 person league...

If we did do a 6 person league I'd like to have a bigger line-up than usual. Something like :

2 QB
3 WR
3 RB
2 TE
1 WR/RB/TE
Kicker
Def/Special

*This would be a head to head league.

As always suggestions are encouraged. But if in the next 2 days we don't see any more people signing up I will send out invites to the league. After that we can reconvene here and hash out when the draft will be/starting line ups.

I'd do a 6 person. It's not ideal, but it's not a big deal. I prefer deeper rosters anyway. Personally, I think 4 WR makes more sense with only 2 RB.

So if we can get Epignosis to commit then we got 8 people.

The league has been created, pm with your e-mail and you will receive and invite some time afterward.

With 8 people, what kind of roster are we wanting. I prefer only having 1 QB but I could go either way.

Here's what I'd like, but please post what you would like to have - 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1WR/RB/TE, 1kicker, 1 Def, 6 Bech.
