Hia folks, i just wish to introduce myself on this forum and gain some publicity! My name is Chris, i'm 13, and i have somewhat of a neverending obsession on prog music. I will listen to anything thats prog. Be it Miles Davis or even Haken, i will love it. I often have somewhat of a VERY bad habit of judging people by their music which i try not to do sometimes. Thats...well about all the info i can think of. :P

I'd have to say my favorite band is Haken. Recently i've been getting into more prog metal, and i've come to like "Opeth", "Pain of Salvation", and at a small extent, "Porcupine Tree". I've also been looking through the discographies of some italiano prog rock bands. I'd have to say my favorite album is "To Shatter All Accord" by Discipline, released in 2011.

Well,  the webmaster did revoke that "no members over twelve" rule, so it's okay.

But seriously, welcome!

It happens to me sometimes if I'm inactive too long.  Perhaps you don't have your cookies fully enabled?

You probably ate the last one by mistake. Happens all the time. I find Oreos work well if you pull off one half, because they're nice and sticky. Oatmeal raisin is also a good choice, but I would advise against chocolate chip because the heat from your processor can melt the chocolate and cause a bit of a mess.

try this:

To enable cookies in Chrome:

  1. Click the wrench icon (in your Google Chrome browser)
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings.
  4. Click Content settings in the "Privacy" section.
  5. Select Allow local data to be set to allow both first-party and third-party cookies. If you only want to accept first-party cookies, check the box next to "Block all third-party cookies without exception."

Why must you always undermine what I am trying to do, Logan? Is it because we have the same name?

He didn't exactly revoke it, but didn't see much reason to do it sense the user, which shall not be named (ETL wants him not to be throwing his name age about) was almost 13

I'm just jealous.  You, I expect, were pretty much born with that name, whereas I had to adopt it as a forum nickname.

Perhaps this site should be similar to Logan's Run, the book rather than the film, where membership should be terminated once a person reaches 21.  At least this site wouldn't be so gassy then. ;) I'm in a very silly mood when I should be out celebrating Canada Day with my family.

This is crazy talk. Everyone knows prog music is FOR old fogeys. I'm nearly thirty and I fel like I'm too young to be listening to the stuff. After all, I wasn't even born when Moving Pictures came out, much less TAAB, ItCotCK and CttE.
