500 posts and I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Sébastien Parent (aka geneyesontle). I'm in high school and I love old progressive rock. These are my favorites:
Genesis
Yes
King Crimson
Gentle Giant
All bold letters indicates where my name came from.
Van der Graaf Generator
Jethro Tull
Pink Floyd
Rush
Camel
Supertramp
Radiohead (that's not so old, but I like them)
Harmonium
I also love classic rock, like:
The Beatles
The Who
Led Zeppelin
Jimi Hendrix
to be continued
I dislike some bands that people seem to love here:
Dream Theater
Opeth
Everything that Neal Morse does
Poseidon wants to Acquire the Taste of the Fragile Lamb
- Derek Adrian Gabriel Anderson, singer of the band Geneyesontle

You should search around for more modern Prog. Some amazing stuff is produced these days.

Welcome.

I know Mars Volta. My drum teacher talks about this band. But i'm so obsessed with old progressive bands that I forgot to check the newer ones.

I always like to suggest RPWL to fans of Pink Floyd.

Welcome!
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.
