OK.
One chooses Freewill by looking at the collection of Rush cd's and asking oneself, "Hmmmmmmmm............ what song next?" And then I selected the Permanent Waves album and chose Freewill as the song to record. Once I started the tune, it was very clear.
Freewill is one of my favorite Rush songs. I like the solo section and Neil's drumming is the thing in that part that I like the most. The three hi-hat accents in the middle are just perfection against a bass line like that. For me at least. It has a good flow.
