Was bored and searched the forum for a Top10 Led Zeppelin tunes list, well didn't find hits with different keywords so decided to make my own.
So here's my list:
1. Stairway To Heaven
2. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
3. Dazed And Confused
4. SInce I've Been Loving You
5. The Rain song
6. Whole Lotta Love
7. Battle Of Evermore
8. Thank You
9. Black Dog
10. Immigrant Song
As you can see, i prefer their old stuff.

I prefer their 69-71 stuff aswell, but they did some beautiful songs in 73-75 aswell!
Not a big fan of their last few albums.

I can make many top 10 lists for Zeppelin: the blues numbers, the hard rock numbers, the ballads, the folkies, the very consistent long songs... The questions is which one would I pick?
Tonight I'm picking the long songs for a compilation, so here it goes:
Dazed And Confused (the studio version)
White Summer (the live version from 70, from the DVD)
Kashmir (studio)
Carouselambra (studio)
Achilles Last Stand (the Knebworth 79 live version, from the DVD)
Ten Years Gone (studio)
In The Light (studio)
No Quarter (the never released Earl's Court '75 22 minutes long version)
In My Time Of Dying (studio) (this is much more than just a blues song to me)
Stairway To Heaven (the '73 live version from The Song Remains The Same)

When the Levee Breaks is pretty awesome! It's quite progressive aswell. It's got backwards harmonica, other weird stuff, and was recorded at a higher speed and then slowed down to give the song it's sludgy sound.  AND WHAT A GROOVE!
