Somehow I don't think very many on a prog forum do, but I thought that I'd ask anyway.

I'm a street dancer myself. Done some locking and will probably start popping this spring.

I haven't danced for some time (unless it's in the privacy of my home, when listening to some particularly groovy piece of musicLOL),  but in the past I have practiced different forms of dancing as a hobby. When I lived in Finland, I took up belly dancing, and I liked it so much that I did it for four years, until I moved back to Italy. Previously, I'd done a couple of years of southern Indian dancing (or bharata natyam), very beautiful but very physically demanding. I've also tried flamenco (at which I'm hopeless) and salsa dancing, and I think I'll take up the latter when I finally move to the US.

I was wondering where Micky was.  After reading this post, I suspect that he is probably taking a cold shower right about now. Wink

Micky is working now, and btw he does knowWink. Unfortunately, I have forgotten most of the moves, but I made sure I packed all my belly dancing scarves (which are meant to be tied around the hips to emphasize the dancer's movements), in case I want to take it up againLOL!

You should see how I dance to fit my monthly salary with the days of the month. Confused

But the moment I dance better is when I do my annual income tax declaration...  Dead

You're so full of cliqués. Wink

I don't dance, I don't like dancing, and I know even less any particular dance moves.
The last time I danced was at my prom (no, don't think about the American prom, it's different around here, but I couldn't think of any other proper term...), but it was after two hot girls (colleagues) dragged me on the dancefloor. LOL A funny chemistry happened: Me a bit dizzy after a couple of whiskey shots ---> thus, me accepted to dance ---> afterwards, me sobered up.

But this thing was an exception, it doesn't change the fact that I don't (know how to/like to)/can't dance.
My best friend is pretty much on the same length with me, he won't dance for anything in the world. Instead, another buddy of mine likes to dance a lot, even knows special dances.

There's 6' 5" of me. If I put all of this into rhythm on a dance floor then I begin to hurt others.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

We all really are brothers from different mothers. I'm only 6' 4" but that's close enough. WinkLOL

I will occasionally and very clumsily twirl about my flat when I'm listening to some great twirl inducing music. Usually on Saturdays when I'm cleaning. In public, never!
