Has anyone checked out this clip??? It's freaking amazing. It's from Korn's live dvd from back in 2004 that is just being released! The DVD is called live in montruex if anyone is interested in buying it. But man these guys sure know how to rock that guitar, here is the clip i was talking about :

Is this another one of those guys that just typed in "music forum" on google, and decided to register just to post a few things and leave?Dead

I can't think of a band more appropriate for the Prog Music Lounge than Korn, if you get my drift yo.
Reminds me of that time that dude tried to promote Weezer, and got totally pwned.

The sad thing is, the guitarist from Korn, Munky or whatever his name is, is actually really good at lead guitar.
He shuns playing lead guitar stuff on their albums because it's not "BROOTALZ NOO METALZ ENUFF".Dead

I've heard munky's good,I used to have a couple of korn albums.I just found them to get increasingly dull, the drummers pretty awesome. Also Bozzio played on one of their albums, put korn in prog related? I think so!

Yeah, I've seen youtube videos of Munky playing fast legato lines, right hand tapping and all that.

Ooooo, I can't wait to see where this leads. As much as I hate spam, I could find a justifiable reason for doing so to this person. Easily one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. I LOLed. Hard.

Weezer are tolerable, but Korn is not, even though Korn are totally more prog (silly masks, seven string guitars, a bajillion members).

I wish people would stop doing this. But you know what's even better than Korn? LINKIN PARK!
if you own a sodastream i hate you

I actually find Linkin Park a fair bit more tolerableEmbarrassed
If I had no choice but to sit through an entire album of Korn or Linkin Park, I'd go with a Linkin Park album.
Oh, by the way it's Slipknot that has many many members, not Korn.

Absolutely not. Did you listen to Minutes to Midnight? How can a band take out seemingly all the crap aspects of their sound...and subsequently sound worse than ever before? It's borderline impressive.

I can listen to Slipknot, especially when lifting or getting dressed before a hockey game, you know to get you extremely angry. Korn and Linkin Park are Dead terrible.
