I was just listening to The Wall (again) and hearing the song "Stop" made me wonder how many prog songs there are which are very short.  I realise "Stop" is part of a longer concept piece, so perhaps let's disallow such linking material, and just name very short prog songs (under two minutes) which are not part of a longer concept piece.

Aksak Maboul, Fantomas and Look de Bouk spring to mind as bands notable for writing short pieces of music, but they're not conventional prog bands as such.

Art Bears' "Law" is well under a minute but still a functional and great song. there's also National Health's "Phlakaton" which is a twelve-second vocal rendition of a drum solo o:)

Three that immediately come to mind are...

Still...You Turn Me On - ELP
Wonderous Stories - Yes
Seven Seas Of Rhye - Queen (Queen II is PROG)

First Inaugural Address to the IACE Sherborne House on Robert Fripp's Exposure album only lasts a couple of seconds.

Supertwister -- Camel has more prog packed into three and a half minutes than most epics do.

Of couirse if it's length that you are concerned about solely, then there is For Absent Friends -- Genesis that come in under a minute and a half.  And Five Percent for Nothing -- Yes does an awful lot in 38 seconds.

'Reguhon' Le*Silo (7 seconds). Not sure if it qualifies as a song though. Also I spotted their debut cd at my local record-store in the bargain bins. For shame, Japan, for shame

"Cans and Brahms" and "We Have Heaven" both on Fragile are around a minute and a half, and both are amazing. But then again, it's Yes performing these songs, so it's not surprising that they can make two one and a half minute songs prog...

Would you like some Bailey's?

Jethro Tull deserves a honorable mention with Cheap Day Return, Round, Nothing @ All,  Slipstream and a jewel of beauty: Grace.
