Keyboards isn't as integral as the guitar is, but there are some moments of brilliance.

EdIt: I underrated the keyboards role before the edit.

Not an integral part? Its like 1/4 of the music. I've always loved the keyboards...I've always loved Camel. I would have to vote for the Mirage songs...cause that's the album that rocks the most.

fore me the keyboards are 2.5/4 part of Camel....

A great show of keyboards is Aristillus, but it's not really a song you usually play.
I'll just go for Other, Song withing a Song, even though the rest of the list are awsome!

As long as you feel the song has the best keyboard performance. It's not a "best song" poll.

I'm not sure whether to vote for "For Today" or "Ice" ... my 2 favorite keyboard solos from Camel are there.

For Today is really good but it has a much different feel, much mood and atmospheric... Not bad at all, really good I reply but I really think you should have put their 70's classics..
Although I know it's quite both sides, subjective and objective.

Lost and Found is really good and fun too.

Oh and the great hammond solo from Another Night is fantastic!! Really brings me back memories from Jon Lord!

"Aristillus", for some reason, might be my favorite Camel song ever. It's so awesome but its length makes me wish that there were more Camel songs like it. CryLOL

I don't know what it is though, but that song is the epitome of Camel's awesomeness. I can't really explain why I love it so much. Anyone else in my boat?

Lunar Sea

Despite thinking that Mirage is their best album by a cat's hair, i still love the keyboards in Lunar Sea.

Nimrodel, my preferred keyboard solo by Peter Bardens. Just amazing.

End Peace from The Single Factor. It's probably Ant Phillips who plays that?

Simple but effective. A cathedral-like ambiance, warm and powerful.

Well, I honestly don't think that the solo in Lunar Sea (the keyboard one, cuz the guitar solo and outro makes alone makes it my fave camel song) is that exciting, but the synthesizer motif during the intro and outro is simple, yet beautiful.

How can no one vote for Ice?

And yeah, I forgot Another Night, it really had great hammond.

I'm rather fond of "A Song Within a Song."  My own keyboard style of playing is very similar to this- simple, but effective.

There are many but I tend to love the kbrd lead in Sasquatch...could also be that I've played it in my band but still a very classy tasty lead.

You know what stands out to me about "Lunar Sea?"  The bass playing, especially during the keyboard solo.  It's just good fun!

I actually like a lot of bands without guitar. Greenslade, for example, have a lot of very fine keyboard moments
