 Topic: Comment on the band above you....

Thought I introduce this game. I'll start with a band's ( or artist) name and you write a short comment about the band. For example if you like it and why.
Then you write another band name for the next poster to comment on.
If you don't know the band there is no point commenting on it, is there?

OK, found the thread by chance, so I think this time I can give it a go...
Le Orme - one of the greatest RPI bands of all time, not a mere ELP clone, but with enough individuality to be appreciated for their own merits. Though Aldo Tagliapietra's vocals may not be to everyone's taste, the trio's instrumental prowess cannot be denied. I grew up with them in the early Seventies, and I saw them live last spring in Italy - they absolutely cooked!
Next band - Caravan!

Caravan - Got the first 3 cd's. One of the best Canterbury groups. Not always easy lo listen to, al least not for me. Must play them more.

have one of the best and most weird/psychedelic artwork in any album (particularly CD) ever released, reffering to 1000 days!
other then that Lateralus is really my favourite but I wouldn't be considered a big fan
Fantasy =)

Tool: interesting prog metal, but a little boring to me. I keep on wondering how many fingers their bass player has got and being scared by their earlier videoclips...

Fantasy - They are one of my most recent discoveries. Very good UK prog. Paint a Picture cover depicts beautifully the diversity of emotions the album brings out .
