A local "mill" (factory):

And during the day:
and of course Bolton Wanderers Premier Lge Football Team:
Local people queing up to view the first ever color TV sold in Bolton (circa 1999)

Not that beautiful but we have summer weather most of the year and the people is very nice here!!! A night view of the old pier... Part of our central square and out cathedral... Another view of our central square and the Big Ben imitation gifted by the UK government in 1910... Our soccer stadium... Our natural monument La Portada Well, that's all...

Bodø is my hometown! The city seen from above: The island Landegode, just outside Bodø, at dusk(or dawn?): couldn't really find more nice pictures(right now at least)

BTW, my town's name is Żyrardów. It derives from the surname of a french engeneer and inventor Philippe Henri de Girard who worked in the factory in the XIX century introducing his linen spinning machine.

What's the derivation of your town's name?

My city is pretty lame compared to yours guys... It is a Montreal Suburb called Repentigny. Couldn't find a lot of photos on the internet. Here are the islands surrounding the town : Here is one (if not the one) of the oldest churches in America. It's about 2 blocks from where I live : And here is a windmill that's also really close to where I live : And here is a view from above that shows the proximity to Montreal :

What a great thread, here is my hometown The Hague:
This is 10 minutes from my home: the beach-place Kijkduin, a few miles from Scheveningen.
A more and more rare scene in Holland because of the global warming: snow!
Het Buitenhof, the famous residence of our politicians.
This is my view from our appartment on the 6th floot in Kijkduin (The Hague), Holland.
