I couldn't possibly vote in a poll which excluded Theakstons Old Peculiar, Deuchars IPA or Holdens Mild

Note from Mr Pedantic: I don't drink, but even I know it's spelt Theakston's Old Peculier.

The beer in my country (Polar) is very good. So good that imported beer is a hard to sell, in the country that imports more liquor than every other country in Latin America.

I love Guinness.
I'd like to see something other than Budwiper for the representative of a USA beer. Sierra Nevada, Red Hook ESB, Gordon Biersch "Marsden" and many, many others are much more true to real beer than Budswiller.

Of course, I prefer it on tap.

One of the best days of my life was the obligatory Guiness Factory Tour, the first time I visited Dublin.Copious supplies of free Guinness ( before the days of the "extra cold" rubbish) was a guarantee that alcohol-paralysed minds would forget the tour and want to repeat it again and again and again.

Ah yes, the great tour of the Guiness factory. I was there, but all I remember was how good the Guiness tasted 'hot off the press'
I dont subscribe to all this extra cold nonesense either.. The colder the beer the less you can taste it. Mind you thats a blessing when it comes to most lager IMO.

the best Guinness? Foreign Extra Stout 8%ish
Guinness, the True Ghengas Khan!
Although Courage Imperial Stout from England,
Pripps Carneigie from Sweden, Sinebrychoff(Koff)
Porter from Finland or Coopers Stout from Australia
aint bad either!
When in Ireland I opt for Beamish draught over
Guinness draught though.

I notice Canadian beer is unrepresented in this poll... If it were there, my vote would go for Sleeman, brewed a mere 20 minutes from my house.
