This is a thread for loudly, forcefully, self righteously and obnoxiously saying all the unsubstantiated, entirely subjective things about prog, etc, that you've ever wanted to say (but have been too polite to, until now), JUST AS IF THEY WERE INDISPUTABLE FACT.
 I will get the party started:
 If you don't agree that Bill Bruford was/is/will be the BEST possible drummer in prog, past, present and future, you are (as we say back home) "f***ed in the head!" 
(That felt GOOD! )
