If you were forced to choose a World President from this list, Who would it be?

I'm sure there would be some other likely candidates as well, but from
this list I choose Roger Waters, because he sings better than George W.
Bush.

Dave Brock (of Hawkwind). Since presidents usually make descions as if they are stoned, why not let a real acidhead be president?

Not Ted, there wouldn't be any animals left after a couple of months.
Not Waters, too depressing.
Maybe Simmons.

I think I have more admiration for Roger Waters little finger than I have for the rest put together ... although if you think about how the songwriting duties evolved in Pink Floyd ... the man does appear to have autocratic tendencies!

Being a Brazilian you could include such illustrious names like: Edyr Macedo, Suzanne von Richtoffen, Fernandinho Beira-Mar, etc. The last one shall be necessary in case Dave Brock (Friede's suggestion) be elected, at least as Minister or Secretary.

Roger Waters from those. But If we're going with prog musicians as World Leaders, I'll say Neil Peart. He always keeps a level head, he has shown resiliance, resolve, creativity, and leadership.

Brocky would get my vote. Members of Hawkwind past and present could make up his government. All global trading could be done in weed. The whole planet would be too mashed to fight each other. Everyone would just sit about listening to music all day, getting more stoned and making sweet love..
Ok, I'm daydreaming...

My preferred candidates are dead - Frank Zappa and Bill Hicks would both have been ideal candidates.
Lemmy could be a pretty good choice, the only problem is that Lemmy is God and there could be a conflict of interest.
Iggy Pop would be good, or Friede's sensible choice - Dave Brock.

Out of this list, Waters.
My real first picks are both dead: Zappa or John Lennon.

I think Roger Waters would blow up the world in one of his fits of depression.
Goodbye cruel world
