I voted for Rush, another band is out of question! Harmonium and Morse Code are second best but I would like to ask attention for Hemlock, a one shot band that blended folk, symphonic and heavy metal, their guitar player sounds as the second coming of Alex Lifeson!

Godspeed is my favourite post-rock band and possibly my favourite band period. So, my vote goes to them.

Harmonium is my current favourite! although I have 8 Rush albums and think that they are also great ...

I must also add that Pollen's only album is also outstanding ...

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

Harmonium as always been a favorite a mine, being that I share their homeland. They were too short lived...
What happened to this song we once knew so well???

As a Quebec resident, I'm very fond of Harmonium. For me, they are the best of canadian prog-rock.I like Octobre, Sloche,Contraction, Toubadou and Etcetera very much too but Harmonium stand above the others. In Quebec, Harmonium are superstars and since the TV serie about the band 4-5 years ago, they gained a lot of young new fans. I used to be a member of their forum a couple years ago and it's incredible how much members of this forum have 13-14 years old and claimed to have discover Harmonium because of the teleserie. It's very rare that a prog band remains as popular as they were when they were active 25-30 years ago.I even think that they are more popular now than in the 70's. In Quebec, they reached the cult status and belongs to the Quebec culture (wich I'm very proud).

Unless none of these are good enough?????
