22. you've spent years in therapy in an effort to forget that John Wetton has ever been involved with anything outside of King Crimson. 42. you hear a car crash and say "That's derivative of {insert band's name here.}" 63. the first thing you look for in a good school for your kids is if they offer classes in Kobaian. 64. you're no longer speaking to your wife since she refused to name your children Dweezil and Moon Unit. (think of Roine Stolt who named his children Peter Gabriel and JS Bach) 65. your boss has started questioning the upper-case 'K's before every 'c' in your memos... 52. you have tried every prog album in you and your friends' collection as a soundtrack to reading "The Return of the King" and finally decided that, since they all suffice, Tolkien must have been a proghole as well.
No, I am decidedly not a proghole. |

You know guys, your denying being a proghole just means that you're still uncomfortable with your burgeoning "prog-holiness" ("prog-holier than thou?"). Emerge from "the closet," and be out and proud, you young progholes! (By the way, I don't really wear glasses. My vision -- like my taste in music -- is fine.) |

LOL i sure laughed a lot and i sure LOVE prog although i didnt pass 5 and i am not a proghole according to the stupid test i really couldnt answer a lot of questions as in my country we dont have prog concerts, we listen to prog on the radio in only one dedicated program and they play "Thick as a Brick" long version, and definitely i cant name my daughters Galadriel & Nico as my family would kill me, but i will KILL myself if my future kids said "prog is boring where is nirvana", only then it would be "the hot pop chick" such as our beloved mariah carey anyway it's a stupid site, none of those stuff prove anything |

BTW, the question: 15. the prefix labels of "Cantebury", "melodic", "symphonic", and "neo" before the word "prog" all simply mean "sucky". its very strange . great band like ELP, CAMEL, GENESIS are symphonic progressive rock, and they are SO FAR AWAY from being s**ky i dont know Salem Hill and never heard him but the archives said he is symphonic too, strange |

Annie Haslam? Is she the painter/former singer of "Renaissance"? BTW, wer're talking about "Firth" like in Colin Firth (the pseudo actor) or Vic Firth like in the world's largest manufacturer of Drumsticks??? or even worse, neither of them!???!!! Cool article Danbo! (still not a proghole btw... but I'm almost there according to the test! ) Edited by landberkdoten |

They didn't make it up, they posted it for FUN. You should check them out. Their newest "Be" is really quite good and they FINALLY found their own sound. They used to have a heavy Kansas like influence. Now, more hard edged, not metal, great vocals with Gentle Giant-like harmonies and thought provoking lyrics. IMHO, of course. |

Guilty as charged. I'm a definite proghole! The sound of a mellatron makes me melt, and I DID dance to Tom Sawyer. On a roof. In the dark. In my pants. Drunk. I was going through an unusual period in my life..
