ive always wanted a shirt with my favorite band at the time on it but ive never been able to find one. even when i liked pink floyd i couldn't find a DSOTM shirt even though it seemed everyone else i knew had one. also once i found a In the court of the crimson king t-shirt on amazon but i didnt get it soon enough and its gone now. my question is what is the best or weirdest or rarest or... prog rock shirt that you have had.

I was in a record store about 15 years ago when I noticed the owner wearing a Jethro Tull t-shirt from (and I could be wrong with the forthcoming details) one of their late-70's tours. It featured a bearded man hiking through a forest with some sort of imp behind him. All I clearly remember was that the guy had a walking stick. Anyway, being that JT was God to me then, I offered him anything he wanted, to which he said nothing could ever make him part with it. Have to appreciate a true fan such as he.
Anyway, does that tour shirt sound familiar to anyone? I'd love to procure one of those babies....

What about a shirt with your favourite music site emblazoned on the front?

I had a tee shirt of Caravan's InThe land Of The Grey & Pink - Caravan were doing direct sales through fanazines in the early 90's to avoid being ripped off any further by the middlemen. My wife eventually made it 'disappear in the laundry' because she said I didn't look good in pink - I think she was right.
I also found a teeshirt of Primus's Pork Soda in a local factory shop for £1-50, which my daughter has nicked for a nightshirt having got into Primus in the last 3 months.

I've bought Porcupine tree's Deadwing t-shirt in a normal music shop.
Maybe I'm not a huge fan of this band, but I simply like them (and it's their best album cover IMHO)
YEAH, I was thinking about making Progarchives t-shirt for my own of course, selling it would be illegal

I think I may have been the one who stole that ITCOTCK t-shirt from you! (that is a laugh of evil)
I also have a tye-dye Jethro Tull Aqualung shirt but I hardly where it because it's...tye-dye

I did make my own, though the Canon transfers rather faded over time. Ones I made:
England: Garden Shed
Semiramis: Dedicato a Frazz
Pollen: same
...also printed out a transfer of Gotic’s Escenes, but never got
round to transfering it. I did a couple of shirts based on surrealist
painting: a Dalì and a Tanguy. Curiously, it’s the Semiramis shirt that
gets the most comments.
They apparently make better transfers these days, ones you don’t even
need to use on a white T-shirt anymore! Which is fine for me, I look
better in black anyways!
