Snarky Puppy are a fascinating jazz fusion collective from the US that combines jazz, rock, prog, funk, and what have you, really. So, a logical question is: Why aren't they on the Progarchives website already?
Do you know them, proggers? What do you think?
Given the vast nature of the term 'Jazz Rock/Fusion', it is surprising they have not been proposed at some point?

Snarky Puppy is a great band, Not sure why they are not listed on the site under jazz fusion.
I think a few people suggested it a while ago.

I think I may have suggested them but they were turned down. I think the reason was that they aren't considered prog enough or even fusion enough(too funky).

I see, sounds reasonable. Maybe I won't bother suggesting them [again] then.

I think he is thinking of Silly Puppy and I am sure he is around probably chewing up the furniture or lifting his leg on the record collection.

That's the sole reason why I started this thread. I saw that many of the bands are on both websites, and wondered what's wrong with Snarky.

They have been suggested at least twice by now. Go ahead try again if you want.
As for where are they, probably on tour like they always are.

Don't know how I missed these :P I know it's not correct to compare bands while evaluating but I do wonder what makes Jaga Jazzist Prog and not them.

Re Meltdowner:
I would imagine that since Jagga Jazzist comes from prog turned metal band Shining might have something to do with it.
