Topic: Most Original album name Posted: July 22 2005 at 01:17 |
What would you all think is the most original album name for a prog
band - I mean a lot of prog albums that I can think of are taken from
song names (Close to the Edge, Aqualung, Mr. Fantasy etc).
What would you think is the most original album name? Or just makes you laugh when you hear it?

I asked Bobby Dylan
I asked the Beatles
I asked Timothy Leary
But he couldn't help me either
They call me the seeker
THE WHO!

The Friends of Mr Cairo: Sounds like an Agatha Christie cheap novel
Nursery Cryme: Great play with words.
Leftoverture: Excellent name and very original.

Gentle Giant had a compilation LP called
Pretentious For The Sake Of It which I always
thought was an amusing two fingers up to the critics.

Agatha Christie didn't do cheap novels
Nursery Cryme: Great play with words.

"Cunning Stunts" is nothing but a bit of puerile humor, to be honest

My favourites:
H to he who am the Only One (VDGG)
If I could do it All Over Again, I would do it All Over You (Caravan)
Io non so da dove vengo e non so dove mai andro, uomo e il nome che mi han dato (De De Lind)
translation: I don't know from where I am coming, and I don't know where I will ever go. Man is the name they gave me.
These were all already mentioned so i'm not the only one who likes these.

Lmip Bizkit - "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot dog Flavored Water", that's a strange album name!
