Obviously you did not get the latest remaster version but the first version of the album without any bonus tracks.
Allthough the main interest is still yhe album (which had Giving To You as a closer), the bonus tracks are taken from non-album singles . They(Traffic) released a whole bunch of those back in those years as the industry was really pushing that format nit being sure the Album format was yet all that interesing commercially speaking, as it was probably more profitable to sell seven separate singles than one 14 track album. Some of those singles were quite neat "tunes" but most not coming close to to some of the album highlights such as the title track.
In general, it is always better to look for the remastered version which for obvious reasons (there are notable exception to this ) sound better. The bonus tracks in Traffic's case are usually interesting but sometimes not - as is the case of alternate versions/takes , live versions or left-overs from those sessions.
